Hi Friend,
It doesn’t matter if we’re talking about voting rights, utility justice, pay equity, housing rights, reproductive justice, or paid leave–we know that racism & sexism are baked into the institutions that uphold inequity. Our fight for a better future inherently means fighting against anti-Blackness and the pervasive way racial divisions have been used to exploit workers throughout history.

This Black History & Futures Month we must remember that racial justice and economic justice are inextricably linked and we cannot achieve one without the other. We must continue to confront and dismantle the systems of oppression that prevent our communities from thriving.
