I was so excited to attend the 5th Annual Women’s History Brunch. The lineup of speakers looked interesting and it was a chance for me to network and meet like-minded women with similar goals. I wasn’t disappointed
I don’t know too many people that have not experienced some form of discrimination or had their rights infringed on, in the workplace or when in a position of potential employment. 9to5’s leadership series has given me more motivation and focus as I continue to seek employment in a challenging employment environment.
My goal after completing 9to5’s Community Internship is to be in a confident position on an executive level to make change while educating and leading grassroots campaigns.
I will always stand up for people, because I truly believe every human being has the right to life, love, laughter, and the pursuit of happiness.
I would like to know under what circumstances is it justifiable for a large adult male to physically assault an unarmed, teenage girl who is posing no physical threat to anyone?
I have a stronger sense of what I should expect from our country and how to let my voice be heard on many levels.
